Death Cannot Sleep

Amarion, a female knight from the harsh northern kingdom, lives each day fighting monsters, until she suddenly receives a marriage proposal from Grand Duke Mort, known as the “Walking Death.” Faced with an enormous dowry capable of keeping her northern kingdom afloat, she accepts the proposal… but on their first night together, she is met with an unbelievable request. “You have only one duty: to remain by my side while I sleep. But you must stay awake. If it becomes too difficult to endure, you may cut me down. I will not hold it against you.” After leaving behind those mysterious words and falling asleep, Amarion comes to understand why the grand duke had to seek out a female knight like her and make her his wife. As the sleepless nights continue, with Amarion unable to let down her guard, the grand duke’s attitude only grows sweeter and sweeter.
