Kanna made a certain decision

The orphanage and Kanna were facing a life-or-death crisis. The orphanage was about to go under in just one hour. Why? Because they had no money... The problem began half a year earlier, when Kanna borrowed money from “that man.” “That man” was Bricardi, the founder and master of the greatest waterworks company on the continent. He was also known as Bricardi, the Blood Conduit Master. He was a revolutionary in the water business, but also someone said to be willing to kill if it meant advancing his enterprise. So why did Kanna borrow money from someone like that? Because she had no money... When the children are starving right in front of her, what does it matter whether the other person is a thug or a Blood Conduit Master? Kanna would do anything for the sake of the children. Yes, even if that Blood Conduit Master demanded her body... “I’ve protected my chastity for 80 years, but for the children...!”
