Police Lieutenant Sun Yulhee is appointed head of the patrol team in Jinyang, a small naval city. There, she encounters Jin Haerok, a mysterious man with platinum-blond hair and violet eyes. Her instincts warn her that he is a man she should never get involved with. Yet, almost every day, he shows up at the police station, shamelessly flirting with her. An obscure past. Wealth of unknown origin. An unsettling gaze that fixes on people as though he were aiming a gun at them. "Let's date. Why don't we have a little fun playing at romance?" And then comes an offer she has no way of refusing. For the sake of the greater good, Yulhee sets aside even her own moral principles and reluctantly begins a relationship with a man she wants nothing to do with.
