Stealing the Empress
황후 강탈
On the eve of her wedding to her beloved fiancé Romain, Thetis, the imperial princess of the Karnes Empire, is filled with hope. Then one night, everything collapses. At Romain’s urgent request—claiming his parents have been attacked by an enemy nation—Thetis hurriedly hands over the imperial seal. Because of that single document, her older brother, Crown Prince Theodore, is branded a traitor… and murdered. The truth is far crueler: Romain coveted the throne. Using Thetis, he slaughtered the entire imperial family and seized the crown. Imprisoned in a monastery by the now-emperor Romain, Thetis falls into despair and tries to end her life—only to choose a different path: revenge. Determined, she returns to the capital. But when Thetis is forced by Romain to take the seat of empress, a face she thought she’d forgotten appears before her. This man’s presence was never part of my plan. No—he couldn’t be. An old, twisted connection interfering with my revenge… that was never supposed to happen.
