The Thoughtful Lady
“I will become a lover devoted to my lady.” After losing her husband and being left on her own, Ophelia is approached by Rodion, the heir to a ducal family, who offers to become her personal attendant knight. “Please, do with me as you please.” Ophelia cannot help but be suspicious. Why would a man of such noble birth, six years younger than her, willingly seek a position that is practically no different from being her lover? “I’ll make sure you can never cast me aside.” But Rodion only becomes more persistent, determined to leave Ophelia no chance to send him away. “My goodness… Why is he so big?” With a face as flawless as his physique, her perfect attendant knight awakens feelings Ophelia has never experienced before. A passionate, sparks-flying romance between an irresistible younger man and a noblewoman discovering love for the first time.
